Creating places where people and businesses are proud to call their home is at the heart of the Council’s vision for North West Leicestershire; with the delivery of affordable and well designed homes a Council priority.  To create great places, we need excellent urban design skills.

Through our design initiative we're working with our partners to raise the standard of urban design and place making skills. We recognise that investing in skills development in the current market conditions is challenging. This year, in partnership with CABE and OPUN (Regional Architecture Centre), the Council is financially supporting five delegates through the award of five bursaries.
